History:
Macon Public Library was founded in 1912 and has been serving the Macon, Missouri community in its present location since 1917. We are a city library funded by city taxes. Residents or property owners of the City of Macon may apply for a library card without charge. Anyone living outside the city limits may purchase a nonresident patron card for $30.00 annually.
